Knot of Isis Meditation Ritual

Are you feeling disconnected from the Divine Mother? Would you like to know how to connect to her and understand her in a deeper way? The Divine Mother is you in your highest aspect. Connecting to her presence is as simple as calling upon her name and asking her to meet your need.

When you pull the Knot of Isis card from the Isis Oracle Deck, the Goddess is speaking power, protection and abundance in your life. You may receive this card when you are feeling insecure or fearful. The Goddess is reminding you that she is with you and will provide for you. She will also grant you the skills and the abilities to develop a deeper sense of self and security. Now is the time for you to focus and concentrate on this power.

The Knot stands for binding. The time has come for you to realize this connection and bind yourself to your divine feminine aspect. Fear and insecurity come from not having secure boundaries. Realize that you are not floundering in an ocean of uncertainty but rather, you are tightly bound and connected to all that nurtures, protects and supports you. By having this understanding, you are developing a soul tie with the Mother Isis.

Ritual for the Knot of Isis: Isis is an aspect of the planet Venus. In Ancient Egypt (Kemet) she was called Auset and in earlier times she was known as the Goddess Hathor (Het Heru). These aspects or names for the Goddess/Venus are one and the same. She is the Mother Goddess of love and abundance. Her day is Friday and her hours on that day are 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Pick an hour this Friday to bind your connection to her. Light a red candle representing your root chakra while burning your frankincense to do the following meditation.

Invoking the Knot of Isis: Say these words, "In unconditional love I call forth the Isis Knot. I am held in love like a babe in a cot. The Buckle of the Beloved has me secure, as my energy field now does mature. The Goddess within my body and Soul, the Knot of Isis helps me grow whole."

Close your eyes and imagine that you are being gently rocked in a vibrant red cradle that feels safe and stable, neither too small or too large. It is just the right size shape and movement for you to feel perfectly comfortable. The cradle radiates the most beautiful red you have ever seen or felt, vibrant and glowing and in it you feel safe, secure and loved. Within it, you can grow and magically the cradle grows as you do so it is always the perfect shape and size for you. Allow yourself to grow as large as you like, your energy field growing, pulsing and expanding with light and strength, with Divine Goddess energies until you feel as large, strong and potent as is right for you at this time. At all times, the Cradle holds you perfectly. This cradle is a symbol for the Knot of Isis and you are held. Stay with the feeling of this for as long as necessary and then say, "In all ways, I am held and safe, as I grow strong and take my place, in my high spiritual destiny for the benefit of all humanity, the Knot of Isis supports me. In love and light, and of my own free will, so be it!" When you are read, just open your eyes.
